Observation 11/06/07

Today's class seemed alot like another computer class but it was good in that it helped me learn more about the e portfolio and other online projects that I will soon be confronted with. This knowing of how to create a website will be useful in the future whenever I am attempting to create for my business in the future.

Observation 10/30

Today's class was good in that the reading from the night before had posed questions which were great to argue. I learned today that importance of the mediator because when talking of culture controversy you must fully understand the cultures of others before you tell them to adapt to ours.

Observation 10/23/07

In today's class I felt like I learned a little more about the middle ground in an argument. The word mediate had never really meant a whole lot to me but now I understand the importance of a mediator in all arguments. The debate we watched only solidified my opinion of mediation.

I really liked the way the class today was set up. I feel that I learned alot about my writing ability. Also, I liked the fact that we were able to get feedback on our work without getting a grade.

Observation 10/11/07

Today's class was awesome. I really enjoyed our argument on a tax on emails. This class really helped me not only spill out what I was thinking but it also gave me the opportunity to work on my argueing and backing up view points skills.

Observation 10/9/07

Today brought up some great arguements on how everyone felt on terroism. This class was great in that it showed us how photos can back up an argument.

Observation 10/4/07

Today seemed more like a computer class rather than an English class. I do feel that I am more computer literate now and am able to hyperlink a document. Also, I feel that I better understand what goes into the learning record and how to complete it correctly.

Observation 10/2/07

During today's class I feel that I gained a better knowledge in to exactly what goes into a visual rhetoric essay. By looking at other examples I feel now that I can successfully complete my project with more assurance.

Observation for Sept. 25

Today I felt like I really gained a good amount of help on my community-based essay. I enjoyed the peer revision in that it helped me gain the insight from others that I would not have previously attained by working solely on my own. Also, it helped me get mulitiple perspectives on the issue. All in all I feel as if today was very helpful in the writing of our next assignment.

Sept. 18

Today I learned of the significance of writing a brief and the effective ways to argue. This will be helpful in the process of writing the community-based essay. It will also allow me to make a successful argument for my grade at the end of the semester.

Observation for Sept. 13

Today was back to the books and was a little confusing. But I like the whole idea of the blog that we are supposed to set up. I feel that it will help us see our progress as in that we will receive feedback from the professor.

Observation for Sept. 11

Today was a good day in that it was very relaxing. The atmosphere of the library tour was great. And it was not like some classes where you learn absolutely nothing, I actually feel like I gained a substantial bit of information just from today’s class.

Observation for Sept. 6

Today was a little depressing. The quiz today I was totally not expecting and kind of got a rude awakening to college English. But it is ok, because I like the new grading scale and feel that if I give my work my all from here to the end that I am bound to make a good grade.

Observation Sept. 4,

Today was good class. I like how it did not last very long. But I feel that it is good to have those days sometime. And to attempt to catch up on sleep that I missed last night from the football game.
